DTC Troubleshooting: P00CF(3.0L Engine): Inspection

MAP Sensor Functional Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Procedure

• Check the atmospheric pressure with a barometer.
• Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
• Confirm the HDS [MAP Sensor (Hi Res)].

• Normal Conditions
• • HDS [MAP Sensor (Hi Res)] value is almost the same as the atmospheric pressure.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the MAP sensor.

PCM Functional Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Procedure

• Check the atmospheric pressure with a barometer.
• Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
• Confirm the HDS [Baro Sensor].

• Normal Conditions
• • HDS [Baro Sensor] value is almost the same as the atmospheric pressure.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the PCM.

Turbocharger Boost Sensor Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining turbocharger boost sensor is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the turbocharger boost sensor.
