DTC Troubleshooting: P0102(3.0L Engine): Inspection
MAF Sensor Inspection
NOTE:
Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.
Test Procedure
- Preparation
-
- MAF Sensor/IAT sensor 1 4P connector: disconnected
- Procedure
-
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.
| (Disconnected)MAF Sensor/IAT sensor 4P connector 1female terminals | ||||
| IG Mode |
|
Normal Conditions | ||
| Unit output voltage inspection | ON | About 5.0 V | ||
Results
- If it is normal, there is a problem with MAF Sensor/IAT Sensor 1.
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with other related components.
FGP, VGM Circuit Inspection
NOTICE:
Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.
Test Procedure
- Preparation
-
- MAF Sensor/IAT sensor 1 4P connector: disconnected
- PCM connector B (72P): disconnected
- Procedure
-
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.
| (Disconnected)MAF Sensor/IAT sensor 4P connector 1female terminals | ||||
| IG Mode |
|
Normal Conditions | ||
| FGP, VGM shorted wire to wire inspection | OFF | There is more than 1 MOhm | ||
| FGP shorted to ground inspection | OFF | Not shorted | ||
Results
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
PCM Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the PCM.
