DTC Troubleshooting: P0107(3.0L Engine): Inspection
MAP Sensor Inspection
NOTE:
Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.
Test Procedure
- Preparation
-
- MAP Sensor 3P connector: disconnected
- Procedure
-
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.
| (Disconnected)MAP sensor 3P connectorfemale terminals | ||||
| IG Mode |
|
Normal Conditions | ||
| Unit output voltage inspection | ON | About 5.0 V | ||
| ON | About 5.0 V | |||
Results
- If it is normal, there is a problem with the MAP sensor.
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with other related components.
VCC1, PB Circuit Inspection
NOTICE:
Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.
Test Procedure
- Preparation
-
- MAP sensor 3P connector: disconnected
- PCM connector E (114P): disconnected
- Procedure
-
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.
| (Disconnected)MAP sensor 3P connectorfemale terminals | (Disconnected) PCM connector E (114P) - Refer to: PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs(3.0L Engine) or PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs(2.0L Engine) female terminals | ||||
| IG Mode |
|
|
Normal Conditions | ||
| VCC1 open wire inspection | OFF | There is less than 1 Ohm | |||
| PB shorted to ground inspection | OFF | Not shorted | |||
Results
- If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
PCM Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the PCM.
