EVAP Leak Check Module Pressure Sensor Inspection

NOTE:  Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.

Test Procedure (Step 1) 

• Preparation

    EVAP leak check module 8P connector: disconnected

• Procedure
• • Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
  • Confirm the HDS [Absolute Pressure of ELCM Pressure Sensor].

• Normal Conditions
• • -

    HDS [Absolute Pressure of ELCM Pressure Sensor] value is more than 852.804 mmHg. 

Test Procedure (Step 2) 

• Preparation
• • -

    EVAP leak check module 8P connector: disconnected

• Procedure
• • -

    Perform the inspection according to the following table.

(Disconnected) EVAP leak check module 8P connector female terminals

Normal Conditions

Unit output voltage inspection 

ON

About 5.0 V 

Results 

• If it is normal, there is a problem with the EVAP leak check module.
• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with other related components.
