ICU
This diagnosis checks for problems in the infotainment control unit processor.
When the diagnosis is OK, the information of the infotainment control unit processor is displayed.
Display
This diagnosis checks the digital bus (LVDS) connection between the infotainment control unit and the center display unit.
When the Connection diagnosis is OK, the information of the center display unit is displayed.
INIC
This diagnosis checks for problems in the INIC (Intelligent Network Interface Controller).
This screen contains result of diagnosis for MOST network:
- RBD (ring break diagnosis)
- SSO (sudden signal off test)
Most Nodes
This diagnosis checks the connection of each MOST connection unit. When the connection diagnosis is OK, displays the information of each unit.

CAN Gateways
This diagnosis checks whether the infotainment control unit has received specific B-CAN or F-CAN data using the MOST bus.
- If OK, an error is not detected between the B-CAN bus or the F-CAN bus and the infotainment control unit via the gateway.
- If NOT OK, an error is detected on the gateway or each F-CAN or B-CAN data.

Gateway Status
USB
This diagnosis displays the USB device status that is connected to the infotainment control unit.
If the USB memory device is connected to USB port A, the screen displays the USB controller status, the self powered status, and the device status.
When you connect a USB mass storage device, you can see the capacity used and the amount of free space available.
TCU (With AcuraLink)
This diagnosis checks the telematics control unit connection.
If the Connection diagnosis shows NOT OK, go to AcuraLink services do not work troubleshooting - Refer to: AcuraLink Symptom Troubleshooting - AcuraLink services do not work or AcuraLink Symptom Troubleshooting - AcuraLink prompts or operator voice is weak or cannot be heard .
TCU Diag (With AcuraLink)
This diagnosis shows the telematics control unit information via the USB between the infotainment control unit and the telematics control unit.
These diagnosis checks the telematics control unit status.
- TCU Status: Displays telematics control unit information.
- TCU DTC: Checks the telematics system DTCs. Go to AcuraLink General Troubleshooting Information .
- TEL Info: Displays the phone module information.
- Service Log: Displays the event log data (Type, Data, Time, Code) of the telematics control unit.
- TCU Test: Checks the SMS function. Go to AcuraLink Self-Diagnostic Function .
Hard Key
This diagnosis checks each keys on the touchpad unit, volume and seek switch, audio remote-HFL switch, and the ACC combination switch.
To complete the test, operate each keys. As each function is tested, the corresponding button on the display should highlight. If the test cannot be completed, the corresponding icon on the Hard Key menu screen shows red.

Error History
If you select the HARD ERROR or the SOFT ERROR, you can see the error information. Refer to How to Check for Error History to use this diagnosis .
AM/FM/HD Radio
This diagnosis displays the tuner unit status and check the function. If the AM/FM Available shows NOT OK, substitute a known-good tuner unit, and recheck .
XM (With XM)
This diagnosis checks the XM tuner connection. The XM tuner is built into the tuner unit.
If the Connection diagnosis shows NOT OK, substitute a known-good tuner unit, and recheck .
Rear Camera (Without Multi View Camera System)
This diagnosis checks the rearview camera connection.
If the Connection diagnosis shows NOT OK, refer to appropriate Audio And Visual System Symptom Troubleshooting - Rearview Camera Image Does Not Come On.
MVC (Multi View Camera) (With Multi View Camera System)
This diagnosis checks the multi view camera unit connection.
If the Connection diagnosis shows NOT OK, go to Multi View Camera System troubleshooting .
GPS Antenna
This diagnosis checks the roof antenna (GPS) connection.
If the Connection diagnosis shows NOT OK, the GPS antenna may be faulty. refer to appropriate Audio And Visual System Symptom Troubleshooting - No Gps Reception Or Interference.
Select the INFORMATION icon to see the GPS information screen.
The GPS information screen shows the current status of GPS reception. The circular diagram shows the current location of the GPS satellites (yellow numbers) as they would appear in the sky. The outer circle represents the horizon (0 degrees elevation). The middle and inner circles represents 30 and 60 degrees respectively. The very center of the diagram (90 degrees elevation) is directly overhead. Nearby obstructions, like tall buildings will block satellites in that direction. That is why it is necessary to be in an open area to effectively troubleshoot GPS reception issues.
- The Number of reception satellites box shows the number of acquired satellites (maximum of 12). It should contain three or more icons.
- The Current Position shows latitude, longitude, and elevation (in feet). If there are less than four satellites, the elevation can be grossly inaccurate.
- The Date field shows the current date and time that is received from the GPS satellite.
Gyroscope
This diagnosis checks the gyro sensor in the infotainment control unit. This devices detect how the vehicle moves, and repositions the vehicle position icon on the map screen.
Bluetooth
This diagnosis checks for problems in the Bluetooth module. When the diagnosis is OK, displays the information of the Bluetooth module.
WIFI
This diagnosis checks for problems in the Wi-Fi module. When the diagnosis is OK, displays the information of the Wi-Fi module.
HFT-Mic
This diagnosis allows you to test the microphone. To properly check the microphone, make sure you are sitting in the driver's seat.
- If the Bluetooth Connection State shows NG, replace the infotainment control unit .
- Press the TALK button, and within 5 seconds in a normal voice say \"testing\" toward the microphone in the roof module. The Mic Level indicator on the screen should momentarily turn green. The test is set to OK by indicating green more than 6 steps. If there is no Mic Level movement when you speak, refer to appropriate Audio And Visual System Symptom Troubleshooting - Microphone Does Not Recognize Driver's Or Front Passenger's Voice (Usa/Canada Models).
EMMC
This diagnosis checks connection to the EMMC (Embedded Multi Media Card). When you start this diagnosis, the infotainment control unit may freeze or delay up to a minute while the diagnosis runs.
The diagnostics result can be exported to the USB memory that connected to USB port A.
Apple IC
This diagnosis checks for problems in the Apple IC. When the diagnosis is OK, displays the information of the Apple IC.
PMIC
This diagnosis checks for problems in the PMIC. When the diagnosis is OK, displays the information of the PMIC.
Touchpad
This diagnosis checks the digital bus (RS485) connection between the infotainment control unit and the touchpad unit.
When the Connection diagnosis is OK, displays the information of the touchpad unit.
