    NOTE:  Before reinstalling the rear side inner trim, install the clips.

    NOTE:  If you are replacing the front seat belt after a deployment, refer to Component Replacement/Inspection After Deployment - Refer to: SRS Component Replacement/Inspection After Deployment for a complete list of other parts that must also be replaced.

    Preconditions 

    Key Information 

    Do the following before starting your work.

    Removal 

    • Driver's side: Refer to the figure 1 and 2.

    Installation 

    NOTE:  Before installing the B-pillar lower trim, make sure the SRS indicator works normally.

    After Installation

    If you are replacing the front seat belt outer lap pretensioner after a deployment, refer to Component Replacement/Inspection After Deployment - Refer to: SRS Component Replacement/Inspection After Deployment for a complete list of other parts that must also be replaced.

    Preconditions 

    Key Information 

    Do the following before starting your work.

    Remove:

    NOTE:  Before installing the B-pillar lower trim, make sure the SRS indicator works normally.

    If you are replacing the side impact sensor (first) after a deployment, refer to Component Replacement/Inspection After Deployment - Refer to: SRS Component Replacement/Inspection After Deployment for a complete list of other parts that must also be replaced.

    NOTE:

    Be careful not to bump (by impact wrench, hammer, etc.) the area around the side impact sensor.

    NOTE:  Before installing the B-pillar lower trim, make sure the SRS indicator works normally.

    NOTE:  Before installing the rear seat side bolster, make sure the SRS indicator works normally.
