    Perform The Inspection According To The Following Table.

Normal Conditions

Back_Up(Wiper) Open Wire Inspection 

Off

There Is Less Than 1 Ω 

Refer To The Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description For The Method To Inspect The Shorted Circuit Below, Then Start To Inspect According To Circumstances.

Back_Up(Wiper) Shorted To Ground Inspection 

Off

There Is More Than 1 MΩ 

Results 

• If Abnormal, There Is A Problem In The Circuit.
• If Normal, There Is A Problem With The Windshield Wiper Control Unit/Motor.
