Key Information
Do the following before starting your work.
Remove:
- Right Front Wheel - Refer to: Front Brake Area (Type-S) (2024 2025) or Front Brake Area (Except Type-S)
- Engine Undercover - Refer to: Undercover Area (Type-S) (2024 2025) or Undercover Area (Except Type-S)
Move:
- Coolant Reservoir - Refer to: Radiator Area (2.0L Engine) (2024 2025) or Radiator Area (1.5L Engine)

■ Removal
1. Move the drive belt auto-tensioner (a) in the direction shown. (Figure 1)
NOTICE: This is a hydraulic type auto-tensioner, so you must turn the wrench slowly for at least 3 seconds.
2. Insert a pin (b) into the holes. (Figure 1)
Pin Specifications (Figure 2)
Standard Value c 6.0 mm (15/64 in) After Installation
- Maintenance Minder Reset (With Maintenance Minder System)
If the Maintenance Minder requires the drive belt to be replaced, reset the Maintenance Minder with the gauge (see "Resetting the Maintenance Minder").

■ Installation
- Do the drive belt auto-tensioner air bleeding before installing the drive belt - Refer to: Drive Belt Auto-Tensioner Inspection (2.0L Engine) (2024 2025) or Drive Belt Auto-Tensioner Inspection (1.5L Engine) or Drive Belt Auto-Tensioner Air Bleeding (1.5L Engine) or Drive Belt Auto-Tensioner Air Bleeding (2.0L Engine) (2024 2025) .

- Exhaust Pipe A - Refer to: Exhaust Pipe/Muffler Area (2.0L Engine) (2024 2025) or Exhaust Pipe/Muffler Area (1.5L Engine)
