Confirmation Procedure

Perform the following procedures in order. If the failure is duplicated, the confirmation procedure is completed.

• Procedure 1
• • Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
  • Select the HDS [EX-VTC].
  • If the HDS [EX-VTC] result is not OK, the failure is duplicated.

• Procedure 2
• • Test-drive the vehicle at a steady speed between 25 - 75 mph (40 - 120 km/h) for 10 minutes.
  • Confirm the HDS [EX VTC Status] is ON.
  • Monitor the HDS [OBD STATUS (PGM-FI)] for DTC P0014.
