MAP Sensor Functional Inspection (2)

Preconditions 

• Intake air system, PCV system, vacuum line visual inspection is normal

Test Procedure 

• Procedure

• Note the value of MAP Sensor (Hi Res) in the DATA LIST with the HDS.
• Start the engine and let it idle.
• Confirm the HDS [MAP Sensor (Hi Res)].

• Normal Conditions
• • -

    HDS [MAP Sensor (Hi Res)] changes more than 0.67 kPa (0.2 inHg, 5 mmHg)  .

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the MAP sensor.
