APP Sensor Inspection

NOTE:  Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.

Test Procedure 

Unit output voltage inspection

• Preparation

    APP sensor connector (6P): disconnected

• Procedure
• • Jump the APP sensor connector (6P) terminals No. 4 and No. 6 with a jumper wire.
  • Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
  • Confirm the HDS [APP Sensor A Voltage].

• Normal Conditions
• • -

    HDS [APP Sensor A Voltage] value is more than 0.2 V  .

Results 

• If it is normal, there is a problem with the accelerator pedal module.
• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with other related components.
