How to use this service information .

NOTICE: 

• Make sure you review the A/C service tips and precautions before doing repairs or servicing.
• Review the A/C refrigerant oil replacement procedure - Refer to: A/C Refrigerant Oil Adjustment or A/C Refrigerant Oil Replacement before doing repairs or service.
• Plug or cap the lines immediately after disconnecting them to avoid moisture and dust contamination.
• Apply compressor oil - Refer to: A/C Refrigerant Oil Adjustment or A/C Refrigerant Oil Replacement when installing new O-rings for A/C systems.

1. A.-

   Preconditions 

   • A/C Refrigerant Recovered

   Sub-Procedure

   ■ Removal/Installation 

   • To prevent damage, hold the A/C pressure sensor mounting block (a) in place with a wrench.

   After Installation 

   • A/C Refrigerant Evacuate and Charge
   • A/C System Test - Refer to: A/C System Contamination Inspection or A/C System Test or A/C System Inspection
2. B.-

   Preconditions 

   • A/C Refrigerant Recovered

   Key Information 

   Do the following before starting your work.

   Remove: 

   • Air Intake Duct - Refer to: Air Cleaner Area (1.5L Engine) or Air Cleaner Area (2.0L Engine) (2024 2025)
   • Intercooler - Refer to: Intercooler Area (1.5L Engine) or Intercooler Area (2.0L Engine) (2024 2025)
   • Front Lower Plate - Refer to: Front Bumper Area (Except Type-S) or Front Bumper Area (Type-S) (2024 2025)

   After Installation 

   • A/C Refrigerant Evacuate and Charge
   • A/C System Test - Refer to: A/C System Test or A/C System Contamination Inspection or A/C System Inspection
3. C.-

   Preconditions 

   • A/C Refrigerant Recovered

   After Installation 

   • A/C Refrigerant Evacuate and Charge
   • A/C System Test - Refer to: A/C System Contamination Inspection or A/C System Test or A/C System Inspection
4. D.-

   Sub-Procedure 

   ■ Installation 

   • After removing the desiccant from its packaging, install it as quickly as possible to prevent the system from absorbing moisture from the air.
   • Be careful not to damage the cap. It is made of resin and can be easily stripped.
