Procedure/Specifications
1. Install the magnet stand base as shown.
2. Set a dial indicator (a) on the tip of the input shaft (b).
Tool Details
Name a Dial Indicator 3. Zero the dial indicator.
4. Measure the input shaft thrust clearance by lifting the input shaft up.
NOTICE: Take measurements in at least three places, and use the average as the actual clearance.
Specifications
Standard Value 0.15-0.25 mm (0.0059-0.0098 in) Result
- If it is abnormal, refer to the Parts catalog, then select appropriate thrust shim, and recheck the thrust clearance.
