Magnetic Encoder Visual Inspection

Test Procedure 

• Procedure
• • Start the engine.
  • Test-drive the vehicle at 12 mph (20 km/h) or more in a straight line.

    NOTICE: 

    Drive the vehicle on the road, not on a lift.

  • Confirm the HDS [LEFT FRONT WHEEL SPEED], [RIGHT FRONT WHEEL SPEED], [LEFT REAR WHEEL SPEED], [RIGHT REAR WHEEL SPEED] value.
  • Check the measurement part of magnetic encoder according to the wheels with different wheel speed values.
• Normal Conditions

    There is no damage and/or debris.

  • -

    The part is installed correctly.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the magnetic encoder.
