Entering the Self-Diagnostic Function (Manual Method)

Before doing the self-diagnostic function, make sure the No. A20 and the No. CA fuses are OK.

1. Press and hold the right multi-function steering wheel controller.

2. Turn the combination light switch (LO position) to the ON.

3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

4. Within 2 seconds, turn the combination light switch to OFF, then to the LO position and OFF again. Within 5 seconds, release the right multi-function steering wheel controller, and then repeatedly press and release the switch three times.

NOTE:
  • While in the self-diagnostic mode, the dashlights brightness controller operates normally.
  • While in the self-diagnostic mode, the right multi-function steering wheel controller is used to start the Beeper Drive Circuit Test and the Gauge Drive Circuit Check.
  • If the vehicle speed exceeds 1.2 mph (2 km/h), or turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, the self-diagnostic mode ends.
