EVAP Leak Check Module Pressure Sensor Inspection

NOTE:  Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
• • -

    EVAP leak check module 8P connector: disconnected

• Procedure
• • Jump the EVAP leak check module 8P connector terminals No. 7 and No. 8 with a jumper wire.
  • Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
  • Confirm the HDS [Absolute Pressure of ELCM Pressure Sensor].

(Disconnected) EVAP leak check module 8P connector female terminals

• Normal Conditions

    HDS [Absolute Pressure of ELCM Pressure Sensor] value is will change from about 941.95 mmHg to 253 mmHg  .

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the EVAP leak check module.
