Multipurpose Camera Unit Visual Inspection

Test Procedure 

• Procedure
• • Remove the multipurpose camera unit.
  • Check for any dust or the dirt on the multipurpose camera unit lens.

• Normal Conditions
• • Multipurpose camera unit lens surface is clean.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the multipurpose camera lens.
• If it is normal, there is a problem with the multipurpose camera unit.

• If the camera lens is dirty, wipe gently with a lens pen, etc. to avoid damaging the camera lens.
• After wiping the camera lens, shed light on the lens surface with a flashlight, etc. and check that there is no dirt left before attaching it to the vehicle.
• The multipurpose camera unit must be re-aimed - Refer to: Multipurpose Camera Aiming (Static Camera Aiming) or Multipurpose Camera Aiming (Dynamic Camera Aiming) or Vehicle Conditions that require Multipurpose Camera Aiming or Multipurpose Camera Unit Update if the multipurpose camera unit is removed or replaced.
