Knock Sensor Inspection

NOTE:  Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.

Test Procedure

    Knock sensor connector (2P): disconnected

• Procedure

    Perform the inspection according to the following table.

(Disconnected) Knock sensor connector (2P) female terminals

Normal Conditions

Unit output voltage inspection 

ON

About 5.0 V 

Results 

• If it is normal, there is a problem with the knock sensor.
• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with other related components.
