Key Information
Do the following before starting your work.
Remove:
- Right Front Wheel - Refer to: Front Brake Area (3.5L Engine) or Front Brake Area (3.0L Engine)
- Right Front Inner Fender (As Needed) (Figure 1)

Removal
1. Set a wrench on the drive belt auto-tensioner (a), and slowly turn the wrench in the direction of the arrow. (Figure 2)
2. Insert a pin (b) into the hole. (Figure 2)

Preconditions
- 12 Volt Battery Negative Terminal Disconnect - Refer to: 12 Volt Battery Terminal Disconnection and Reconnection (3.5L Engine) or 12 Volt Battery Terminal Disconnection and Reconnection (3.0L Engine)
After Installation
- 12 Volt Battery Negative Terminal Reconnect - Refer to: 12 Volt Battery Terminal Disconnection and Reconnection (3.5L Engine) or 12 Volt Battery Terminal Disconnection and Reconnection (3.0L Engine)
