Heated Windshield Wiper Area System Description

Basic Control/Function 

The heated windshield wiper area provides the timer control function that is controlled by the relay control module.

When the following conditions are met, the 15 minute timer operation is performed:

• When the windshield wiper area switch is pressed with the indicator turned OFF.
• When the outside air temperature is lower than a certain temperature.

When any of the following conditions are met, timer operation is stopped:

• When the windshield wiper area switch is pressed with the indicator turned ON.
• When approx. 15 minutes have elapsed after timer operation.
