NOTICE:
When working with a vehicle equipped with the electronic air suspension, be sure to set it to the leveling off mode to prevent unexpected operation. Refer to the Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions - Refer to: Electronic Air Suspension System Connector Fitting Precautions or Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions for the procedure.

Preconditions
- Vehicle on Level Ground
- Tire Pressures Normal Condition
- The driver or someone who weighs the same should sit in the driver's seat (or use an equivalent weight).
- Unload the vehicle.
- For models with electronic air suspension: With the driver's weight added, reset the suspension by changing the integrated dynamics system mode from Normal to Sport, then back to Normal again.

Procedure/Specifications
1. Clean the outer lens so that you can see the center of the low beam headlights (a). (Figure 1 and 2)

2. Park the vehicle so that the center mark of the low beam headlight (c) is away from a wall or screen (d). (Figure 3)

3. Mark the same height of the headlights, then on the wall or screen (f) with masking tape. (Figure 4)

5. To see if the headlights are adjusted properly, observe the beams of light projected on the wall or screen. The highest edge or "cut line" (k) of the headlights should be equal with the masking tape (m). (Figure 5)
NOTE: To help determine if a headlight is out of adjustment, block one of the beams with a large piece of cardboard or equivalent, and observe the other beam on the wall or screen. Repeat this for the other headlight.Figure 6

6. If adjustment is necessary, open the hood and adjust the headlights to local requirements by turning the adjuster (l). (Figure 6 and 7)
