L-LINE Circuit Inspection

NOTE:  Before disconnecting the SRS unit connector, do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.

Test Procedure

    Body control module connector A (66P): disconnected

  • -

    SRS unit connector A (43P) : disconnected

• Procedure
• • -

    Perform the inspection according to the following table.

(Disconnected) Data link connector (DLC) (16P) female terminals

(Disconnected)Body control module connector A (66P) female terminals

Normal Conditions

L-LINE open wire inspection 

OFF

There is less than 1 Ohm 

Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

L-LINE shorted to ground inspection 

OFF

Not shorted 

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
