Diagnostic Test
- CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
- With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Is the DTC active?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Test complete.
- With the scan tool, read DTCs.
- TEST SEAT BELT SWITCH WIRING
- Disconnect the faulty switch from the wiring and connect the appropriate test resistor contained in kit no. 1806627000 in tis place.
- Turn the key to the run position and see if code has gone stored.
Is the code still active?
Yes
- Turn the key to the off position and repair or replace the affected wiring.
No
- Test complete.
