Torque Specifications

TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

DESCRIPTION N.m Ft. Lbs. In. Lbs. COMMENT
Intermediate Shaft to Steering Gear Bolt 27 20 - * NEW FASTENER:  Do not reuse these fasteners. If removed, a new fastener must be installed and tightened to specifications.
Outer Tie Rod End to Steering Knuckle Nut 68 50 - * NEW FASTENER:  Do not reuse these fasteners. If removed, a new fastener must be installed and tightened to specifications.
Steering Column Seal to Bulkhead Bolts 8 - 71  
Steering Column to Dash Frame Nuts 24 18 -  
Steering Gear to Crossmember 110 81 -  
Steering Wheel to Column Nut 45 33 - * NEW FASTENER:  Do not reuse these fasteners. If removed, a new fastener must be installed and tightened to specifications.
Tie Rod Jam Nut 63 46 -
