Torque Specifications

TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

DESCRIPTION N.m Ft. Lbs. In. Lbs. COMMENT
Intermediate Shaft to Steering Gear Bolt 30 22 - Do not reuse these fasteners. If removed, a NEW  fastener must be installed and tightened to specifications.
Outer Tie Rod End to Steering Knuckle Nut 70 52 - Do not reuse these fasteners. If removed, a NEW  fastener must be installed and tightened to specifications.
Steering Column Seal to Bulkhead Bolts 8 - 71  
Steering Column to Dash Frame Nuts 24 18 -  
Steering column fork to steering box 30 22 - Do not reuse these fasteners. If removed, a NEW  fastener must be installed and tightened to specifications.
Steering Gear to Crossmember Bolt 110 81 -  
Steering Wheel to Column Nut 50 37 - Do not reuse these fasteners. If removed, a NEW  fastener must be installed and tightened to specifications.
Tie Rod Jam Nut 70 52 -
