Engine Code Location: 1.8L

Engine code letters and engine serial number are located on left side of cylinder block, above oil filter, on a sticker attached to cylinder head cover and stamped on front engine mounting bracket (visible after removing cover above fuel injectors). See Figure . Additionally, engine code and serial number are located on vehicle data plate.
