Control module, coding (scan tool function 07)
If the control module does not indicate coding corresponding to the vehicle, or if the control module has been replaced, code it as follows.
NOTE:
Control module with Part No. 8N0 906 018 T was equipped with "06610" as a permanent code and cannot be re-coded.
- Connect VAS5051 tester or VAG1551 scan tool and select the control module for engine electronics using address word 01. Refer to VAS5051 vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system orVAG1551 Scan Tool (ST), connecting and selecting functions .
Ignition must remain switched on for this.
