Testing Procedure

Begin testing by performing an underhood preliminary inspection. See PRELIMINARY INSPECTION  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If no faults were found during preliminary inspection, proceed with self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM . Use illustrations to locate various underhood engine performance components, see COMPONENT LOCATIONS .
