- Mark the rotation direction, install on correct side. Refer to Cylinder Block, Belt Pulley Side [For engine(s) CTGE, CWUC] , Cylinder Block, Belt Pulley Side [For engine(s) CPNB] , or CYLINDER BLOCK, BELT PULLEY SIDE [For engine(s) CREC, CREH] .

- A/C Compressor
- There are different versions.
- Refrigerant line, disconnecting and reconnecting. Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES, DISCONNECTING FROM COMPRESSOR AND CONNECTING, 4-CYLINDER TFSI/TDI ENGINE .
- Removing from and attaching to the bracket. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET, VEHICLES WITH 4-CYLINDER TDI ENGINE .

There are different versions depending on the refrigerant (R134a or R1234yf). Refer to Electronic Parts information (ETKA).

- A/C Compressor Regulator Valve -N280-
- To check, use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function an. Refer to the Appropriate Wiring Diagram.
- O-ring seal
- Replacing. For the correct version.
- Coat with refrigerant oil before installing. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT SEALS .
- Low pressure side refrigerant line
- Bolt
- M6 9 Nm
- M8 25 Nm
- High pressure side refrigerant line
- Bolt

- O-ring seal
- Replacing. For the correct version.
