Test Requirements

NOTE:

Reducing Agent Reservoir Sensor -G697-, Reducing Agent Temperature Sensor -G685-and Reducing Agent Tank Heater (Heating Circuit 1) -Z102- are contained within the Reducing Agent Delivery Unit Located in the right rear wheel housing under the wheel housing liner and mounts to the Active Tank. Should 1 component be faulty the whole Assembly would need to be replaced.

Fuses OK.
Battery voltage OK
Switch OFF all electrical and electronic accessories.
Vehicles with Auto. Transmission, ensure Selector Lever position is in "P".
Vehicles with Man. Transmission, ensure Shifter Lever position is in "N" with Parking Brake applied.

2	DISCONNECT: Reducing Agent Metering System Control Module -J880- electrical connector T8ac IGNITION: ON CHECK: Reducing Agent Metering System Control Module -J880- harness connector terminals T8ac / 2 to T8ac / 1 and 5 for voltage. SPECIFIED VALUE: Battery voltage CHECK: Reducing Agent Metering System Control Module -J880- harness connector terminals T8ac / 7 to T8ac / 1 and 5 for voltage. SPECIFIED VALUE: 5 Volts IGNITION: OFF -- Was value obtained?	-- YES: GO TO: Step 3 -- NO: CHECK: wiring for open, high resistance, short or electrical connector for damage, corrosion, loose or broken terminals REPAIR: faulty wiring or connector GO TO: Step 4
3	DISCONNECT: Reducing Agent Metering System Control Module -J880- harness connector T30 IGNITION: ON CHECK: Reducing Agent Metering System Control Module -J880- harness connector terminals T30 / 10 to T30 / 11, 18 and 30 for voltage. SPECIFIED VALUE: 5 Volts IGNITION: OFF -- Was value obtained?	-- YES: REPLACE: Reducing Agent Metering System Control Module -J880-. Refer to proper repair information for removal and replace procedures. GO TO: Step 4 -- NO: CHECK: wiring for open, high resistance, short or electrical connector for damage, corrosion, loose or broken terminals REPAIR: faulty wiring or connector GO TO: Step 4
4	Final Procedure Perform a road test to verify repair. Do any DTC's return:	-- YES: FAULT DOES RETURN: Perform the diagnostic procedure for that DTC. -- NO: Repair is complete, Generate readiness code. Refer to READINESS CODE . Return vehicle to Customer
