Battery Without Visual Indicator
NOTE:
Do not open batteries.
CAUTION:
Replace the battery if the electrolyte level is below the min. marking. Refer to BATTERY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
.
-- Check that the battery and terminal clamp are tightly in position and tighten if necessary. Refer to BATTERY: SECURE SEATING OF BATTERY AND BATTERY TERMINALS, CHECKING .
-- Check the battery electrolyte level via the markings.
- The acid level must be above the MIN mark.
NOTE:
Use a flashlight to improve visibility when performing an exterior visual inspection of the MIN and MAX markings.
If the marks are difficult to see: Hold a small mirror at a right angle to the battery cells and use a flashlight to check the electrolyte level.
