CONDITION

DTC "B200047 - control unit faulty - static" is logged in the Light Control Module J1018 or J1023 (address word 0029 or 0039). The lighting functions of the vehicle are fully available and there is no warning in the instrument cluster.

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

Incorrect software.

PRODUCTION SOLUTION

New software in the Light Control Module J1018 and J1023 (address word 0029 or 0039) addressed the condition.

Update the Light Control Module J1018 and J1023 (address word 0029 or 0039) using the SVM action code as listed in the TABLE below if necessary:
