Start/Stop System Safety Precautions
When working on vehicles with the Start/Stop System, observe the following:
WARNING:
Danger of personal injury when the engine starts automatically.
- When the Start/Stop System is activated (the indicator lamp in the instrument cluster is on), the engine can start up automatically.
- Always make sure the Start/Stop System is deactivated whenever working on the vehicle. Switch off the ignition.
