Windshield Wiper, Bringing Into Service Position

CAUTION:

There Is A Risk Of Damaging The Front Lid By Moving The Windshield Wipers Back Into The Home Position.

Do not drive a vehicle with windshield wiper arms folded up.
The windshield wipers automatically go back in the basic setting when the windshield wiper switch is activated or when driving faster than 6 km/h.

NOTE:

If The Windshield Wiper Motor Is To Be Run During The Procedure, The Front Lid Must Be Completely Closed, Otherwise The Power Supply To The Wiper Motor Will Be Interrupted.

-- Make sure the wiper blades are not frozen if there is a risk for frost.

-- Turn on the ignition.

-- Activate the windshield wiper "on" menu item using the multimedia system control head. Refer to the Owner's Manual.

The windshield wipers run in the "service position".

-- Turn off the ignition.
