Perform Adaptations After Component Replacement

Adapting the adaptation values after replacing components

An adaptation of the adaptation values is required after the following procedures:

The engine was replaced.
The sensor wheel for the Engine Speed Sensor -G28- was replaced.
The components of the chain drive were removed and installed or replaced.
The cylinder head was removed and installed or replaced.
The camshafts were removed and installed or replaced.
The Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493- has been replaced.
The Radiator Shutter Motor -V544- has been removed and installed or replaced or the Radiator Shutter with the Motor has been replaced.
The Charge Air Pressure Control Module -GX34- has been removed and installed or replaced or the turbocharger with Charge Air Pressure Control Module has been replaced.
The Throttle Valve Control Module -GX3- were replaced.
The particulate filter was replaced.

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Switch on the ignition and select Guided Functions use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.
