Antilock Brake System Control Module, Coding
If the ABS, ABS/EDL system is also equipped with ASR, theABS Control Module (w/EDL) -J104- must be coded for either manual transmission or automatic transmission.
Coding can only be carried out if a dealership number has been stored in the scan tool:VAG1551 VAG 1551 operating instructions.
A 3-digit code must always be displayed during the control module identification.
If the code that is displayed does not match the vehicle, or if the control module has been replaced, the control module must be coded as follows:
