If no ATF leaks out of the ATF check and fill hole -arrow B- before the ATF reaches 40 °C (104 °F) :

NOTE:

At 45 °C (113 °F) the ATF inspection plug must be installed again. Let the transmission cool down and check again.

-- Install the Oil Filler - Jointed Hose:VAS6262/5 into the ATF check and fill hole -arrow-.

-- Fill the ATF using the adapter until the ATF starts to leak out of the check and fill hole.

NOTE:

Too little or too much ATF will impair transmission function.

-- Tighten the new plug -arrow B-. The ATF level test is now completed.
