Laser Distance Regulation Control Module -J1122-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

Audi A6, A7 Sportback:

-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to LOCK CARRIER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the air guide -1-.

-- Unclip only the top of the right air duct -1- -arrow- and pull it as far forward as possible.

Audi RS 6 Avant, RS 7 Sportback: 

-- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Audi A6:

-- Release the clips and remove the washer fluid hoses -3 and 4-.

-- Remove the screws -arrows-.

-- Remove the laser distance regulation control module -1- rearward from the bumper cover.

-- Clean and dry the control module near the connector.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Pull the right mount with the nozzle -1- to the side and out of the mount -2- in direction of -arrow A-.

-- Tilt the left mount with nozzle -3- upward in direction of -arrow B- and remove from the mount.

-- Remove the screws -arrows-.

-- Remove the laser distance regulation control module -2- rearward from the bumper cover.

-- Clean and dry the control module near the connector.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the mount with nozzle -2- upward from the mount -1- in direction of -arrow-.
