Checking Fluid Level

Check fluid with transmission at normal operating temperature. Check with vehicle on a level surface, and with engine idling and gear selector in the "P" position. Ensure fluid level is between "MAX" and "MIN" marks on the dipstick. Distance between marks represents .42 qts. (.40L).
