Shift Rod

  1. Place gearshift lever in the "N" position. Disconnect selector rod from selector lever. SeeFig 1 .

  2. Make sure transmission is in Neutral. Press gearshift lever against forward stop on shift gate. Move adjusting pin so it fits easily into hole in selector lever.
  3. Shorten the length of the selector rod by 1 turn. Secure the selector rod.
