Prerequisite for this procedure is that oxygen sensor is at operating temperature. The engine must run for 30-40 seconds before control is implemented. The control can compensate for wear-related deviations in the mixture compensation and therefore conceal other defects. If necessary, disconnect the oxygen sensor during troubleshooting of the mixture composition.
