Injection Control

The intake air flows through the airflow meter free of back pressure and pulses. Here the volume of air is registered independent of the air temperature, air humidity and altitude. Based on the engine speed, air volume and engine temperature, the DME control unit then calculates the correct injection timing and ignition angle. The mixture is changed by the opening period of the fuel injector valves.
