BMW Engine Management Systems have evolved through the model years The evolution is due to continued refinement and emission level compliancy Same version systems may be different from vehicle-to-vehicle additionally increasing the number of system variations.







The Engine Management Systems are visually depicted using the familiar I-P-O type illustrations.
