Emergency Programs: Notes

The following designs of the GA6HP26Z are used to reduce faults:

• Reduction of system interfaces by using the Mechatronic (assembly)
• Redundant selector lever signals and monitoring (PT-CAN and hardwire)
• Multiple substitute programs
  1. Substitute program 1: restricted gear selection
  2. Substitute program 2: corresponds to previous emergency program with only forward, reverse, neutral and park positions possible
  3. Actuator (MV and EDS) deactivation: hydraulic/mechanical emergency operation
