Installing the complete exhaust system

- Note component's center of gravity.
- Support component using a jack.
- Secure component against falling off the jack.

- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- At the catalytic converter exhaust pipe (2), use a measuring tool for centering (1) 45 mm and then mark the area with a touch-up stick (if applicable, temperature resistant).
- Clean the exhaust pipe (1) of the catalytic converter with a wire brush.
- When reinstalling the same rear silencer: Clean the exhaust pipe (1) of the rear silencer with a wire brush.
- Slide the exhaust pipe of the rear silencer onto the exhaust pipe of the catalytic converter up to the mark (1).
- If necessary, replace clamp.

- Tighten clamp (1).

- Check rubber mount for damage, replace if necessary.
- Tighten the screws (1).
