Accelerator Pump Rod Adjustment
NOTE:
On 1979 California and High Altitude vehicles with 2GE model carburetors, include a drilled accelerator pump plunger head. This design includes a small by-pass hole. DO NOT interchange this design with one without the drilled pump head.
Back out idle speed screw. Hold throttle valve completely closed. Measure from top of air horn ring to top of pump rod. If necessary, bend pump rod at angle to adjust. See Fig 1 .
