Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

CUTLASS CALAIS, GRAND AM, SOMERSET REGAL & SKYLARK

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove plastic cover shields from condenser assembly.
3. Remove hood latch.
4. Disconnect manifold lines from condenser.
5. Remove front grille molding braces attaching screws, then the molding braces.
6. Remove headlight bezel attaching screws, then the headlight bezel.
7. Remove front grille assembly and position aside.
8. Remove condenser mounting bolts, then the splash shield(s).
9. Carefully remove condenser assembly and transfer bracket, if necessary, from vehicle.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
