Test E: Wheel Speed Circuit Control Module Test

  1. Disconnect ECBM harness connector. Connect Pinout Box (J-38716). Using DVOM, measure resistance between indicated pinout box terminals. See WHEEL SPEED CIRCUIT CONTROL MODULE TEST  table. Resistance should be 800-12500 ohms. If resistance is as specified, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, repair open or short to ground in suspect wire(s). See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . After repair, go to step  4 .
    WHEEL SPEED CIRCUIT CONTROL MODULE TEST

    Wheel Speed Sensor Pinout Box Terminals
    Right Front 29 & 48
    Left Front 30 & 47
    Right Rear 26 & 45
    Left Rear 28 & 46
  2. Using DVOM, check continuity between ground and pinout box terminal No. 46. Continuity should not exist. If continuity does not exist, go to next step. If continuity exists, repair short to ground in Black wire. After repair, go to step  4 .
  3. If all measurements are as specified, go to SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS  .
  4. After repairs are complete, perform ABS/TCS FUNCTIONAL CHECK  .
