Water Deflector: Installation

  1. Install water deflector (1) to door inner panel, making sure that tabs on bottom are in slots in bottom of door inner panel. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 .
  2. Apply water deflector tape (2) over slots in bottom of door inner panel where water deflector tabs were installed.
  3. Install any support brackets removed.
  4. Install waterproof tape to any damaged area of deflector.
  5. Install door speaker assemblies, if present.
  6. Install sound absorber. See SOUND ABSORBER PAD  .
  7. Install door trim panel retainer and trim panel. See TRIM PANEL  .
