Door Latch Module Assembly: Removal

  1. Remove door trim panel. See TRIM PANEL  .
  2. Move upper half of water deflector to gain access.
  3. Remove rear glass run channel retainer and screw.
  4. Remove outside door handle rod (67) from door latch (70). See Figure .
  5. Remove lock cylinder rod (71) from door latch (70).
  6. Disconnect wire harness from lock actuator connector, if equipped.
  7. Remove rivets (72) using a 1/4" drill bit.
  8. Remove screws (74).
  9. Remove door latch module assembly (73).
